PARISH COUNCIL MEETINGS

The Parish Council meets every fourth Tuesday after the Planning Committee
at approximately 7.30

There are no meetings in August and December

ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND

PLANNING MEETINGS

The planning committee meet every seccond and fourth Tuesday of the month
at 6.45pm in the Methodist Church Hall

Everyone is welcome to attend.

SHALDON PARISH COUNCIL
Planning Committee Terms of Reference    

Membership shall consist of those members of full council elected to serve on the committee at the annual meeting of Shaldon Parish Council.
The Chairman of the committee to be elected annually at the meeting following the full council AGM and shall hold office until the next AGM
A quorum shall be half of the members.

The committee has delegated powers to
. Make representations to TDC on planning applications received within Shaldon, Ringmore and adjacent areas, and to respond on behalf of the Parish Council
. To make representations in respect of appeals against the refusal of planning permission
. To deal with any other planning related matters

The committee may nominate speakers to represent the council at Teignbridge Development Control meetings
The committee will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 18.45 in the Methodist Church Hall
Correspondence should be conducted through the  clerk  wherever possible

These terms of reference should be reviewed annually at the Annual Meeting of Shaldon Parish Council
